Austrian Apple Strudel baking class including traditional lunch
The Klausentor was the city border in the 18th century and the Kaverne was serving as the Tollgate to the old town. The cave, engraved in the Mönchsberg mountain spread a unique and scenic charm to its visitors. The location is in the city center and just 10 minutes from the famous "Mirabell Garden" away.
Participants of this program will learn how to prepare an original Austrian Apple Strudel and the local specialty Salzburger Nockerl. During the class, you will be guided by an experienced chef. Small Groups of 3 to 5 people will be asked to fully partake in all the stages of preparation. Activities such as stretching out the pastry can be a lot of fun and the whole experience of making the strudel is guaranteed to be as rewarding as enjoying the final outcome itself. Additional to the Apple Strudel, participants have the chance to try their hands on to one of the most famous and spectacular Dessert in Salzburg - the Salzburger Nockerl. In order not to spoil the surprise, it can be only told this much - it will be a lot of fun. The program includes also for lunch a traditional and tasty goulash soup which will be served before you get our own cooked creations.
